Courtney and Eric Waldrop will be trying to navigate how to take care of six newborns while also being present for their three older children. Sleepless nights and working through unchartered territory are something the Waldrops will be dealing with for the foreseeable future. Sweet Home Sextuplets will chronicle everything from the bed rest to the journey home for all six of the Waldrop sextuplets. There will be plenty of real moments moms can relate to on the newest TLC show. She is dealing with an incredibly high-risk pregnancy and NICU stays for the babies are inevitable. TLC has already had plenty of success with shows about multiples but Courtney and Eric Waldrop are a little different.

Rumors that the TLC show might be canceled came true last year and fans were terribly sad. However, they understood that Eric and Courtney Waldrop felt that it was best for the children.

The Waldrops faced a 'hard' decision

The channel, known for filming unique real life stories, followed the Waldrops for three seasons, before the family decided to call it quits. In 2021, TLC approached the Waldrops about adding a 4th season. "We have decided that what's best for our family ... is to not continue with the show," said Courtney.

When trying for a fourth, and final, child, the couple was surprised to find that they were pregnant with six healthy babies, turning the Waldrops into a family of 11. Though fans are eager for a new season of the show the family are continuing life as normal off camera. Enjoying time in their family home in Alabama, and working on making it the best place for their children. As for the parents, in June of this year Courtney told followers the two were celebrating 26 years of marriage together. However, all was not completely lost because Courtney shares about the kids almost every single day. Ultimately, the two decided to go forward with the show — but with a caveat. A lot can change in a year, especially for the Waldrop family. The six youngest children are all healthy, and can all swim!

Remember, they lived in it for months on end. But even in the big house, those six three-year-olds were a big handful for their mom. Fortunately, they are two years older than that now and last week they celebrated their fifth birthday. I never missed a show, loved it but understand they need a breask. I really hope the show comes back at some point in the near future though.
